Baron Hill – D (Former US Representative for Indiana’s 9th District) – In September 2009, while serving the 9th District, Hill participated in a town hall meeting at Indiana University in Bloomington. A young woman raised her hand and identified herself as a journalism student working on a school project and was told she could not videotape the event. She asked Hill, why? Hill responded, “This is my town hall meeting and I set the rules…and you’re not going to tell me how to run my congressional office.
